DAY 3 – VIA FERRATA BLAGAJ

  • After the rich breakfast at the hotel, the guide will meet you and take you to the starting point of Via ferrata Vulin potok.
  • Ferrata Vulin potok is located in Blagaj near the source of the river Buna, which is the largest karst source in Europe, where Tekija, a house of dervishes from the 16th century was built on the source itself.
  • Ferrata moves through the canyon of Vulin potok, which has been almost non-existent for many years, but has left behind fantastic geological formations along the entire canyon. The area of the canyon is rich in flora and fauna, which is almost impossible not to notice when using the ferrata. This ferrata is certainly among the most popular in BiH.
  • When moving through the canyon you will find narrow gorges with stuck stone boulders, but also many vertical obstacles that were once in history waterfalls over which we move today, and the highest of them is over 30 m high. Also one of the main attractions of the canyon are certainly the climbing shelters you come across. One of them is located high in inaccessible stone cliffs like a temple, while the other is located at the very end of the ferrata at the famous climbing location Rebro.
  • On the way back from Rebro, we will visit, fortress of Stjepan Kosača, from the 15th century, which offers an unforgettable view of the meanders of the rivers Buna and Bunica, which merge with the Neretva and continue their journey to the sea.
  • After a Via ferrata day, you will be transferred back to Mostar. Return to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Mostar.

  • You’ll raft 25 kmdown the Neretva river, for approx. 6 hours with an experienced skipper (rafting instructor).
  • You’ll feel adrenaline on 4 rapids(WW II-IV), pass under a waterfall shower, drink water directly from a natural spring, enjoy a delicious barbecue (grilled meat, vegetables, pita bread) in the Rakytnica canyon, jump from cliffs to deep water, swim in rapids.
